Estos movimientos en masa, lejos de ser inestabilidades puntuales, inciden en la totalidad o práctica totalidad de la ladera afectada, modificando fuertemente su geometría.Aunque en Asturias la frecuencia temporal de ocurrencia es muy baja, la extensión del territorio que se vería afectada en cada proceso es muy grande.Para la elaboración del modelo de SUSCEPTIBILIDAD, la información utilizada más importante ha sido la distribución de los movimientos existentes actualmente en toda la región. A partir de esta distribución y teniendo en cuenta algunos de los factores condicionantes más importantes (litología del substrato, geomorfología, pendiente, etc), se ha elaborado un modelo de frecuencia relativa de movimientos para el que se han obtenido 5 clases o niveles de susceptibilidad.En la tabla de atributos de la capa, estos niveles de susceptibilidadse definen a través del campo
